|The return of 'The Weekender' Four Mile Hut also (Hughes Hut) - Official NPWS Opening
|Open to all club members. The theme is the return of 'The Weekender' with due recognition to Bob Hughes the builder of the original hut. For those who require assistance with walking, transport in and out from the trailhead of Selwyn Trail will be provided on Saturday, time TBA. Vehicle access will be strictly limited and dependent on recognised 4WD qualification. A barbecue lunch will be provided. For members travelling down Friday suggest camping at Three Mile Dam. Erecting of tents for Saturday night camping near Four Mile Hut ruin after official hut opening ceremony is complete for members wishing stay there. Dinner to be kindly provided by the club.
|First club meeting for the year. Great opportunity to renew aquaintances, hear reports of summer activities and make plans for the coming winter.
|Beginners Instructional Weekend.
|Instruction in skiing technique for beginners. Sunday will be a short trip out from the resort applying skills learnt the day before.
|Two Day Tour
|In from Dead Horse Gap via Horse Flat. Out via Cascade Fire Trail. Very scenic trip to a very photogenic hut. If insufficient snow, then trip will be rerouted to a higher elevation.
|Beginners Touring Instructional. Gary Gow Memorial Trip.
|This is an introductory tour specifically aimed at beginners. Tuition provided in the skills needed for touring. This is also an introduction to the huts experience and the club's Four Mile connection. If insufficient snow, then Plan B.
|Intermediate Instructional Weekend.
|Tuition in skiing technique for those a little more advanced beyond beginner level.
|Annual General Meeting. Reports from Office Bearers, election of 2025 committee, photo competition &etc.
