| Sat~27~--~Sun~28 Jun~2026 | Beginner | Build an igloo | snowcamp | Beginners super easy snow camp. Park cars at the cascades on the Alpine Way. Trek 2km north along the AAWT and set up base camp in the vicinity of Bogong Creek. |
| Mon~29~Jun~--~Fri~3~Jul 2026 | Easy | Beginners Teddys Hut base camp | XC ski | Beginners ski tour. Park car at the cascades on the Alpine Way and ski to Teddys Hut where we set up base camp for 5 days. Explore the surrounding area each day. Exit on the 3rd July. |

| Fri~10~--~Sun~12 Jul~2026 | Tailored to ability | Beginners Instructional Ski Weekend | Beginners Instructional Ski | Instructional weekend for beginners with a focus on the basic skills needed for ski touring on gentle to moderate terrain with day packs. This will include diagonal striding, ascending hills, traversing, stopping and turning. Participants will get the opportunity to put these skills into practice on short tours of about 2 hours duration. There will be plenty of time for fun among the learning. |
| Mon~13~--~Sun~19 Jul~2026 | Undulating, Active | Grey Mare Hut | XC ski | Park car at Munyang power station. Ski north along the Schlink trail and spend the night at Schlink Hut. The next day ski along Valentines trail to Grey Mare Hut. For the following 3 days, do day trips in the vicinity of the hut. On Saturday return back to the cars, staying at Valentines Hut Saturday night. |

| Fri~24~--~Tue~28 Jul~2026 | 2 | SASC Summit Tour | XC Lodge accommodation | This is no longer a coach (bus) trip, but is still organised by Southern Alps Ski Club XC & Bushwalking, with use of your own transport. This is a lodge based trip with first stay at Christiania Lodge in Thredbo for two nights. Dinner will be provided from Friday 24 July evening and including the usual meals, leaving after Sunday breakfast for SASC Lodge located at Charlotte Pass. Spending two nights or less here leaving after breakfast on Tuesday morning or earlier. From here there are two options, one being the usual ski to Perisher or alternatively back to Thredbo. Cost: $800 (last year) Confirm by booking through Clubman or Booking Officers found on SASC website. |
| Sat~25~--~Sun~26 Jul~2026 | 1A | Beginner's Instructional Tour to Four Mile Hut. Garry Gow Memorial Trip. | Overnight Tour | This is an introductory tour specifically aimed at beginners. Tuition is provided in the skills needed for touring. It is also an introduction to the club's Four Mile connection, the huts experience and the things that go boomp in the night. Garry Gow was a member who took a particular interest in the hut, regarding it as an important part of his life. If insufficient snow, then Plan B. Map: Cabramurra 1:25,000. |

It is a premier, week-long celebration in Perisher Valley/Smiggin Holes featuring events for all levels, including the KAC Classic, Mystery Coffee Tours, and social gatherings at the Nordic Shelter. The event showcases over 100km of groomed trails, offering groomed, undulating terrain for both classic and skating techniques. | |
| Sat~1~--~Sun~2 Aug~2026 | Easy 2B | Cascade Hut | 2 Day Tour | In from Dead Horse Gap via Horse Flat. Out via Cascade Fire Trail. Very scenic trip to a very photogenic hut. If insufficient snow, then trip will be rerouted to a higher elevation. Limit of 8. Map: Chimneys Ridge 1:25,000. |

| Sun~13~--~Sun~27 Sep~2026 | From 1A to 3C, your | Lodge-based Day Trips from Charlotte Pass | Day trips | Enjoy the luxury of dry boots, skiing from the door, day trips to places like Lake Cootapatamba, Mt Kosciuszko, Mt Townsend, Mt Lee, Mt Carruthers, Mt Twynam, Watsons Crags, Blue Lake, Club Lake, Mt Stilwell, Twin Valleys, etc, or sharpen up your teles on the lifts. (Lift operation at Charlotte Pass depends on snow cover.) Experience the outrageously cooperative spring snow and choose the grade to suit yourself. Cost for the week $805 for Southern Alps Ski Club (SASC) members and $1025 for SASC non-members, fully catered. Great value for full board. You may be able to come for less than the full week, cost pro-rata. 50% deposit required on booking and should be paid early as it is likely the lodge will be full for both weeks. There is a wide variety of day trip choices available, you can vary the grade to suit yourself. |
