| Fri~7~Aug 2026 | Mystery Coffee Tour 2 - Perisher XC ski week | As in Tuesday event, The Mystery Coffee Tour leaves the Nordic Shelter at 9.45 am. The same format will apply as per Tuesday event, it's a mystery. These Mystery Coffee Tours have been running since 2023 and have been a great success and a lot of fun. Bring $20 to cover the cost of having great coffee and food. This is a PXC initiative. Please call Wayne Pethybridge on 0481 268 598 preferably no later that the Wednesday 5/8 to register your interest and to find out more. You can also put your name down on the sheet that will be on the notice board in the Nordic Shelter by/on the previous Wednesday. | Fri~7~--~Sun~9 Aug~2026 | Tailored to ability | Intermediate and beginner instructional Ski Weekend | Instructional Ski | Instructional weekend for beginners and intermediates with a focus on the basic skills needed for ski touring on gentle to moderate terrain with day packs. This will include diagonal striding, ascending hills, traversing, stopping and turning. Participants will get the opportunity to put these skills into practice on short tours of about 2 hours duration. | Mon~10~--~Sun~16 Aug~2026 | 2B | Mawsons Hut, ?Jagungal | Snow-camping ski tour | An introductory snow-camping hut-tour for those who know the basics of cross country skiing technique, are familiar with pack-carrying and camping, but want to combine these skills while exploring the Jagungal Wilderness. Day 1: Guthega Power Station to Whites River Hut or Schlink Hilton, via Disappointment Spur Hut. Day 2: to Mawsons Hut over The Kerries. Day 3: Return day trip to summit Jagungal if conditions permit. Otherwise a shorter day-trip. Day 4: Mawsons Hut to Guthega Power Station via Horse Camp Hut. Damien Aggio is a co-leader for this trip, and will be staying until Sunday 16th. Trip members are welcome to stay with him. |

| Sat~12~--~Mon~14 Sep~2026 | 2B | Main Range | Snow-camping ski tour | Ski with overnight packs for 3-4 hours then set up a base camp. Then day trips to destinations such as Mt Tate, Watsons Crags or Mt Townsend. The exact camp site will depend on snow conditions; possibilities include Pounds Creek or Wilkinsons valley. The trip is suitable for everyone because there is a choice of moderate or steeper slopes in this area – the grade of the trip really depends on your interests. |
| Sun~13~--~Sun~27 Sep~2026 | From 1A to 3C, your | Lodge-based Day Trips from Charlotte Pass | Day trips | Enjoy the luxury of dry boots, skiing from the door, day trips to places like Lake Cootapatamba, Mt Kosciuszko, Mt Townsend, Mt Lee, Mt Carruthers, Mt Twynam, Watsons Crags, Blue Lake, Club Lake, Mt Stilwell, Twin Valleys, etc, or sharpen up your teles on the lifts. (Lift operation at Charlotte Pass depends on snow cover.) Experience the outrageously cooperative spring snow and choose the grade to suit yourself. Cost for the week $805 for Southern Alps Ski Club (SASC) members and $1025 for SASC non-members, fully catered. Great value for full board. You may be able to come for less than the full week, cost pro-rata. 50% deposit required on booking and should be paid early as it is likely the lodge will be full for both weeks. There is a wide variety of day trip choices available, you can vary the grade to suit yourself. |
